Come and learn the art of Needleturn applique!
Needle turn applique is the traditional method of carefully turning under the raw edge of a shape of fabric and carefully hand sewing it to a solid background. Used in so many different areas of patchwork and quilting once learned this technique will open up so many doors.
During this session Kelly will take you though each step - including carefully drawing the design, to applying tiny delicate stitches to applique the fabric to the solid piece.
Gorgeous Tilda fabrics will be provided to use. There will also be a variety of designs for applique to choose from - including butterflies, hearts and flowers.
Perfect for using up fabric scraps and remnants whilst adding delicate beauty to your work.
