Back by popular demand is the Cathedral Window Class.
Come and spend the morning learning how to create perfect Cathedral windows. A timeless technique that actually looks far more complicated than it is! It is all in the folding and the pressing! A particularly stunning patchwork tradition which allows itself to frame the most gorgeous pieces of fabric or ‘windows.’
Kelly will take you through the process step by step in learning this technique - which one can then use to make into a cushion or even a larger project.
You will need to bring -
a sewing machine
an iron and mat/ small board
any fabric that you would like to use as windows.
This class is suitable for those who have done some patchwork and machine sewing before.
Materials will be provided for this session - but if you do have any fabric that you will like to incorporate please do bring them along.
All classes are held in our stable studio in the beautiful village of Isfield. Please note that the studio is 80 metres approximately from the driveway along a gravel path - so those will mobility difficulties please take note. Due to the studio’s idyllic position the nearest toilet is back up the path in the main house.
If, for any unforseen reasons the class has to be cancelled firstly a new date will be offered and you may either transfer to the new date or a refund will be issued. Should you need to change your booking please get in touch with Kelly as soon as possible to discuss alternative plans.
