Come and spend the morning making perfect pinwheels. A pinwheel pattern is made from half square triangles that are arranged in a pattern that resembles a pinwheel. Kelly will take you through each step to achieve this from measuring and cutting, making a half square triangle and then rimming them and joining them to make the perfect pinwheel.

A new technique that can be used with bright and colourful fabrics for a modern look., or with florals for a more vintage appeal.

Again, once perfected this technique can be used and combined with so many projects.

The ‘Come and Try …’ sessions have been designed as a relaxed, informal morning where a new quilting or patchwork technique will be tried. Over the months these sessions will help to increase skills, knowledge and passion for sewing. These sessions are proving very popular - so book early! A lovely morning guaranteed with like minded people and a new skill or two!

You will need to bring a sewing machine.

Materials will be provided for this session - but if you do have any fabric that you will like to incorporate please do bring them along - for the squares they need to be 2.5” wide strips.

All classes are held in our stable studio in the beautiful village of Isfield. Please note that the studio is 80 metres approximately from the driveway along a gravel path - so those will mobility difficulties please take note. Due to the studio’s idyllic position the nearest toilet is back up the path in the main house.

If, for any unforseen reasons the class has to be cancelled firstly a new date will be offered and you may either transfer to the new date or a refund will be issued. Should you need to change your booking please get in touch with Kelly as soon as possible to discuss alternative plans.
